State Councils
Councils and other special interest groups target specific disciplines within the home building industry. In New Hampshire, our Councils have been created at a State level, bringing in members from all ten locals throughout NH. This offers a diverse arena where members with common interests are given the opportunity to pose questions, exchange ideas, further their education, and develop policies that benefit their areas of interest and expertise. Numerous council members have stated that through the 'roundtable' meetings held by many of the councils, they have been able to pay for their membership dues in just one meeting by bringing back knowledge that allows them to work smarter - not harder!
All members of the Greater Manchester Home Builders Association (GMHBA) are invited to join the state Home Builders and Remodelers Association of NH (HBRANH) by indicating their interest in serving on the various councils. The Association relies on the leadership of members to provide expertise and experience on the issues and challenges facing our industry.
Simply indicate your interest(s) on the Committee/Council Sign-up Form and return it to the HBRANH. Members may join the councils at any time during the year, but the final appointments for Committee and Council Chairpersons will be made by the HBRANH President in October.
The Associates Council is dedicated to strengthening the bond between Associate and Builder members with a common goal of achieving the maximum benefit of membership for Associates by providing educational and networking opportunities to our Council members. Our vision is to create an environment that develops and enhances business opportunities for our industry.
Founded in 1982, the NAHB Remodelers of the National Association of Home Builders represents and serves the interests of more than 10,000 remodeling industry members. Membership gives you access to valuable resources and offers opportunities to network with others in the remodeling industry.
NAHB's National Sales and Marketing Council was founded in 1962 to help builders sell homes more effectively. The council offers educational opportunities, awards and recognition programs, and sales and marketing tools like the Sales & Marketing Channel to its members.
Women's Council members work in all aspects of the building industry: as owners, general contractors, tradespeople, marketing experts, interior designers, and mortgage brokers.
